Delivering of biomass energy efficient stoves in 4 targeted areas |
As part of the United Nations Joint Program (UNJP)’s objective 2, Promoting Sustainable Natural Resource Management and Conservation, E for E has handed over 12 energy efficient stoves to the communities in 4 targeted sub-districts. As a pilot project, E for E had also demonstrated the using of biomass energy efficient stove to the villagers in 4 sub-districts.
· On 26-27 August 2012, delivered 6 stoves to communities in Tham Lod and Mok Cham Pae;
· On 28-29 September 2012, delivered 6 stoves to communities in Mae Suad and Mae Yuam.
The stove, which is a biomass stove using rice husk as a main fuel, was invented by Energy Research Center, Maejo University.
