E for E joined the public meeting to provide the information on Biogas to Electricity Project of Stepwise Energy Management Co.,Ltd. |
Stepwise Energy Management Co.,Ltd. intends to develop the 1 MW biogas to electricity project by processing wastewater from community distillery in Tambon Pudsa, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. This is one of the projects in which EforE will co-invest under the support from Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE)’s Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Promotion Project (Phase II), or so called ESCO Fund (Phase II). The size of the co-investment is 10 million THB.
As the ESCO Fund Manager, Ms. Suwaporn Sirikoon, Chief Executive Director of Energy for Environment Foundation (E for E) has led E for E team to join Stepwise Energy Management Co.,Ltd. to share the project information with the local people at Office of TAO Pudsa, Mueng District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province on 2 December 2010. The attendances included the executive team of TAO Pudsa, the community leaders, and the villagers.
The project will generate 3.2 million units per year of electricity supplying to the grid; simultaneously, it will generate income to local people as well as alleviate the pollution from wastewater.
