| Signing Ceremony of TWO 6 MWe PV Farm in Sakon Nakorn and Nakorn Phanom on October 26, 2010 |
Ms. Suwaporn Sirikoon, Chief Executive Director of Energy for Environment Foundation participated in signing ceremony between Kasikorn Bank and Solar Power Co.,Ltd. on 26 October 2010. Kasikorn Bank has extended THB 2 billion in project financing to Solar Power Co.,Ltd. for the construction of two 6 MW solar farms in Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Phanom.
These two projects have been co-invested by Solar Power Co.,Ltd., International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank Group, and Energy for Environment Foundation (EforE), as the ESCO Fund manager. EforE has supported 18.9 MB in each project. Similar to the 1st project in Nakhon Ratchasima, these second and third projects will sell the electricity to the grid.
